What They Wanted
The school came to us to run the music for their autumn graduation event at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre. Musically they leaned current hits, kept clean and celebration-ready, delivered by a DJ who could hold a graduating crowd in a big room.
How We Planned It
Every booking gets its own event manager, and this one was no exception. We talked through the run sheet and the moments that mattered; liaised with Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre on bump-in, power and finish times; locked in sound check, stage times and the AV hand-over with the in-house team so the formalities flowed straight into the party; and agreed a content-managed, student-safe playlist and request process with staff. Then we matched the DJ best suited to the room and confirmed the run of the night well in advance.
What We Delivered
Come event day, we rolled in with our DJ set up on decks alongside the venue's AV team, sound-checked long before the first guest arrived and backed by our own gear as insurance. Our DJ threaded current hits into one seamless, clean-edit set and read the graduating crowd all night. The result was a packed floor and a client who'd book us again in a heartbeat.
