What They Wanted
The school needed a DJ for their winter formal at Tusk High Bar with around 100 students on the floor. Musically they leaned 70s/80s, current hits and house, a brief that called for an open-format DJ comfortable jumping between eras without losing the room.
How We Planned It
Before the night, your dedicated event manager gets to work. We talked through the run sheet and the moments that mattered; liaised with Tusk High Bar on bump-in, power and finish times; and agreed a content-managed, student-safe playlist and request process with staff. Then we matched the DJ best suited to the room, with licences and insurance in place, and confirmed the run of the night well in advance.
What We Delivered
On the night, we delivered our full DJ package, sound, lighting, wireless microphones and decks, set up and sound-checked before guests arrived, backup gear included. Our DJ blended 70s/80s, current hits and house into one seamless, clean-edit set, and with around 100 students at Tusk High Bar the winter formal never lost its heat.
