What They Wanted
American Express needed a corporate DJ at QT Canberra for around 120 guests across a spring evening. The goal was straightforward but non-negotiable: a professional setup that matched the polish of the QT, and an open-format DJ who could keep the energy right for a corporate crowd all night.
How We Planned It
Before the night, your dedicated event manager gets to work. We talked through the run sheet and the moments that mattered; mapped how the evening should build from arrival through to the last set; and liaised with QT Canberra on bump-in, power and finish times. We matched the right DJ to the brief and locked everything in during the week of the event.
What We Delivered
On the night, we delivered our full DJ package, sound, lighting, wireless microphones and decks, set up and sound-checked before guests arrived, backup gear included as standard. Our DJ took the room's lead, reading the crowd and shaping the set as the night built rather than sticking to a script. With around 120 guests in the room, it's the kind of night that shows exactly why clients trust us with the moments that matter.
