What They Wanted
Stryker needed a corporate DJ at Parkside Ballroom, ICC Sydney for around 650 guests on a summer evening. With formal awards and speeches in the room, the timing and venue AV had to be spot on, and the music, 70s through to current hits, had to lift a big professional crowd once the formalities wrapped.
How We Planned It
Before the night, your dedicated event manager gets to work. We talked through the run sheet and the moments that mattered; liaised with Parkside Ballroom, ICC Sydney on bump-in, power and finish times; and locked in sound check, stage times and AV hand-over with the in-house team, the kind of coordination a room at ICC scale demands. The right DJ for the brief was assigned from our 75-strong team, and every detail was confirmed in the days beforehand.
What We Delivered
Come event day, we rolled in with our DJ set up on decks alongside the venue's AV team, everything sound-checked long before the first guest arrived. Our DJ blended 70s, 80s, 90s and current hits into one seamless set, reading the room as around 650 guests found their feet. We split the DJ sets around the formal program so the awards landed cleanly and the room never lost momentum.
