A real Star DJ Hire booking: what the client wanted, and how we made it happen.
What They Wanted
The company booked Star DJ Hire for their summer end-of-year party at Perth Mess Hall for around 220 guests. The ask was a dependable, open-format DJ who could read the crowd, keep the celebration moving and take a full work year's worth of energy out onto the floor.
How We Planned It
This is where our planning process kicks in. Their dedicated event manager talked through the run sheet and the moments that mattered; mapped how the night should build from arrival drinks to peak time; and liaised with Perth Mess Hall on bump-in, power and finish times. The right DJ for the brief was assigned, and every detail was confirmed in the days beforehand.
What We Delivered
We arrived early and set up everything we bring as standard: full sound, lighting, wireless microphones and backup gear, all sound-checked before doors. Our DJ took the room's lead, reading the crowd and shaping the set as the night built rather than forcing a playlist on it. With around 220 guests in the room, the dancefloor filled early and stayed full right through to the finish.
