What They Wanted
For their end-of-year party at Novotel Sydney Parramatta, Commonwealth Bank wanted a DJ who understood a professional room for around 350 guests across a summer evening. Musically they leaned 70s/80s, 90s/00s and current hits, a broad brief that suited a big, mixed staff crowd celebrating the year.
How We Planned It
Before the night, your dedicated event manager gets to work. We talked through the run sheet and the moments that mattered; agreed which tracks belonged on the must-play list; and liaised with Novotel Sydney Parramatta on bump-in, power and finish times. The right open-format DJ for the brief was assigned, and every detail was confirmed in the days beforehand.
What We Delivered
On the night, we delivered our full DJ package, sound, lighting, wireless microphones and decks, set up and sound-checked before guests arrived, with backup gear on hand as always. Our DJ blended 70s/80s, 90s/00s, current hits and RnB/hip-hop into one seamless set, pacing the energy so around 350 guests moved from dinner to a packed floor without a lull.
